The Household Calendar

One shared view of the whole household β€” paydays, bill due dates, meals, routines, and family events. Every bill with a Due Day and every paycheck flows here automatically, and the Paycheck Planner below shows exactly which check covers which expense.

πŸ’΅ Paycheck Planner Which check pays what

Your income is matched to your bills by when the money actually lands. Each card is one paycheck in the month shown above; the bills under it are the ones due before your next check, so you always know what each paycheck has to cover.
πŸ—“οΈ Pay Schedule

Add each earner and how often they're paid β€” weekly, every two weeks, or monthly. Enter one real pay date as the anchor and the calendar projects every future payday from it.

Anything that isn't a bill or a paycheck: family plans, weekly routines, and meals. Attach a Meal Builder PDF to any meal and open it in one tap from the calendar. PDFs are stored on this device.

Mark any expense Prune (Cancel) to run a subscription-leak audit β€” its cost leaves overhead and is added to your Reclaimed Capital. Set a Due Day (1–31) and each bill flows automatically onto your Calendar and gets matched to the paycheck that covers it. Leave Due Day at 0 for costs with no fixed date (like weekly groceries).

🧹 Household Chores & Task Delegation Shows on Calendar

This is where the "Task Delegation" step of your Sunday Reset actually lives. Assign a chore to a person and a day of the week β€” it repeats every week automatically and shows up on the Calendar tagged with their name, so nothing gets assigned twice or forgotten.

How to Use This Command Center

A short walkthrough of every tab, in the order that makes sense to set up first. Come back here any time you need a refresher β€” nothing here changes your data.
🚦 Setup Order β€” Do These First

  1. Treasury. Enter every income source, then every fixed bill. Give each bill a Due Day (1–31) β€” that one number is what makes the Calendar and Paycheck Planner work automatically. Leave it at 0 for anything with no fixed date, like weekly groceries.
  2. Calendar β†’ Pay Schedule. Add each paycheck: how often it lands (weekly, every 2 weeks, or monthly) and one real pay date you can point to. The app projects every future payday from that single date β€” see the FAQ below for exactly how.
  3. Dashboard. Nothing to enter here β€” it's your at-a-glance summary, calculated automatically from Treasury.
  4. Goals & Debt. Set your Emergency Fund target, any Savings Goals, Sinking Funds for irregular costs, and your Debt Payoff strategy.
  5. Weekly Reset. Run the Sunday agenda, and use the Household Chores list to assign chores by day β€” assigned chores show up on the Calendar automatically, tagged with each person's name.
  6. Maintenance, Playbooks, Vault. Fill these in whenever you have a spare few minutes β€” nothing else depends on them.
πŸ’΅ How does it know when I get paid?

It doesn't guess β€” you tell it once, on the Calendar tab under Pay Schedule. For each paycheck you add three things: a name (like "Primary Paycheck"), how often it arrives, and one real date you were actually paid as the anchor.

From that single anchor date, the app projects every future payday:

  • Weekly β€” a new payday every 7 days from your anchor.
  • Every 2 weeks (biweekly) β€” a new payday every 14 days. Some months this lands 3 times instead of 2 β€” the Calendar and Paycheck Planner will show that extra check when it happens.
  • Monthly β€” the same day of the month, every month, from your anchor.

If you have more than one income (a spouse's paycheck, a side hustle), add each as its own row in Pay Schedule β€” the Paycheck Planner combines them all.

🧾 How bills get matched to a paycheck

Every bill on Treasury with a Due Day gets assigned to the most recent paycheck that lands on or before that due date β€” in other words, whichever check's money is already in hand when the bill is actually due. The Paycheck Planner on the Calendar tab lists each paycheck with its bills underneath it, and shows what's left over after they're covered (in red if a check comes up short).

🧹 Chores on the Calendar

On the Weekly Reset tab, the Household Chores & Task Delegation list is where "Task Delegation" from the Sunday agenda actually happens. Type in a chore, who it's assigned to, and a day of the week β€” it repeats every week and appears on the Calendar automatically, labeled with that person's name, so everyone can see what they're responsible for at a glance.

🍽 Meal PDFs, printing & backups

On the Calendar tab, add a Meal event and attach a PDF from Meal Builder Pro β€” it opens in one tap right from the calendar. PDFs are stored on this device only, so they aren't included in your JSON backup.

Use πŸ–¨ Print calendar (on the Calendar tab) for a paper copy of the month, or πŸ–¨ Print / Save as PDF (bottom toolbar) for your full financial plan. Use – Back up my data regularly β€” everything here lives only in this browser, on this device, so a backup file is the only way to move your data or protect it from a cleared browser.
